Covid-19 Response

Covid-19 Response

March 18, 2020

The Foundation has taken steps to ensure that we do our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19. This includes taking measures to keep our staff protected while continuing to serve you and your church. Please be assured that we continue to care for the resources you have entrusted us with, and we will continue to adjust and find new and innovative ways to provide services to you that are relevant to these new times.

We are providing remote options for the staff to continue serving you during the business hours of 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday. Our plan to protect our staff and help to limit the spread of the virus is one that will provide no interruption in service to you. We will be regularly checking email and voicemail. All phone calls into the Foundation will be answered during regular business hours unless we are on the other line or away from our phone. If this is the case, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

We will continue supporting ministry for the scheduled and requested distributions. Distribution requests can be submitted as they always have been in the following three ways: via email to mlogsdon [at] numf.org, by calling 402-323-8843, or by mailing your request to the Foundation office. During this time, requests need to be received by Monday to ensure a distribution will be sent that week. If an urgent need should arise, please communicate this to us and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Event Updates:
We made the decision to postpone our Leaving a Lasting Legacy Workshops. We have also postponed our monthly Lunch and Learn meetings at the Foundation for the time being. We will share information about future opportunities when they become available.

Stay Connected:
While it is with great disappointment that we will not be able to serve you through seminars and workshops at this time, we are working to provide resources for you that will be accessible through other means, so stay connected with us for updates. Facebook and Twitter, as well as our website, are great ways to stay up to date on Foundation news and resources.

Continued prayers for each of you. May you find some peace in these uncertain times. Thank you for your continued partnership. It is with grateful hearts that we continue to serve you and look forward to the time that we can see you in person again. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
