Foundation Awards Over $85,000 in Spring Grants

The Nebraska United Methodist Foundation would like to recognize and congratulate the recipients of their 2024 spring grant program.

Ministry grant recipients are Alda First UMC; Ashland Methodist Church; Bellwood UMC; Columbus First UMC; Cozad UMC; Grand Island Trinity UMC; Omaha Hanscom Park UMC; Omaha Tri-Community UMC; Plattsmouth First UMC; Potter NE Prairie West Church; St. Paul UMC; Superior First UMC. Ministry grant awards are made possible through contributions made to the Foundation’s Gifts From The Heart Endowment Fund.

Mission grant recipients are: Autumn Kasten, Big Springs UMC; Izabella King, Columbus First UMC; Lawson Luebbe, Seward UMC; Jeanette Ochsner, Big Springs UMC; Riley Salak, Columbus First UMC. Mission grant awards come from the generosity of Dr. Dean and Mrs. Keitha Thomson, with support from the Foundation's Gifts From the Heart - Missions Fund.

New Start/New Faith Grant recipients are ConnectioN Point, Faith UMC of Chase County, and Lexington First UMC. These grants are available to enhance and support new church development.
